lyrics

everything in hindsight always leaves you tied tight and praying for twilight. and the dust on the glass of these last few years. obscuring life outside. most days aren't like any other. lacking color, sirens sound, everyone take cover.

summer came and went again. autumn nearly took my breath. staring out the windows wanting it to come back.

we could really use a breath of fresh air right now. new color and new sound. lift the blinds, turn the locks on the windows aloft. enveloped in blue and green. it sings volumes to me, soothing. minutes movie much too fast it get confusing.

summer came and went again. autumn nearly took my breath. staring out the windows wanting it to come back.

and for real, things don't look ideal.

took for granted all the antics and the places I would go.
though its antiquated now, I smile at the thought. sometimes it's all I got to get me through the days where I can't leave the house or my own head to save my life.

summer came and went again. autumn nearly took my breath. staring out the windows wanting it to come back.

everything in hindsight leaves you tied tight.
